Things To Do While You're Pregnant..

1. Spoil Yourself
So you've got a long list of things to buy for baby, but this is the last time you can really spoil yourself, so splash the cash! Have your hair done, get a new outfit; you deserve it.

2. Get Some Practice
Go and spend time with a friend who's had a baby recently - not in your new outfit as you'll probably come home covered in dribble or sick! Spend some time to see what you are letting yourself in for. Help out at bathtime, change a nappy. Your friend will be glad of the help and the company, and it won't be such a shock when you are faced with your own baby.

3. Spring Clean
Prepare the nest! The exercise will do you good and you won't have time after baby's born. Do any decorating, but steer clear of harmful chemicals and fumes.

4. Stock The Freezer
Plan ahead and get in plenty of food to keep you going after your little one arrives. Look into buying groceries online after the birth - a trip to the supermarket is a major expedition with a crying baby.

5. Make A Will
Accidents happen. Think the unthinkable and decide who you would like to bring up your baby if you get run over by the proverbial bus. The Law Society advise against making a will using documents you can download on the internet or buy from a stationers (no surprises there then!). If you want a solicitor in an office to draw up your will it will cost around £100.

6. Get Romantic!
Soon you'll be surrounded by nappies and a crying baby, and you'll feel too tired for much else. Go away for a weekend now while you can for some quality time with your man. Talking and planning for baby's arrival can be exciting, especially when you're enjoying a lie-in with his hands stroking your bump.

7. Take A Photo
To remind you how you looked with your bump, and to show your baby in later years, have a photograph taken while you're in full bloom.

8. Get Plenty Of Sleep
A decent sleep will be difficult to come by in the first months after baby arrives, so enjoy it now while you can. Long week-end lie-ins with your fella will lower your stress levels and could be enjoyable!
